"Get Planning?"
The flames flickered throughout the chapel as the heavy doors were barged open. Abbess Abigail stood up from the alter and turned to face the newcomer. Blood streaked her face and her flame like hair was matted with gore and sweat. Inwardly the Abbess sighed. "What trouble have you gotten into now Sister?" she asked.
"Vile Orcs, roaming with impunity across our lands." the newcomer stated, her voice filled with passion " When will we ride out and destroy these beasts".
"Be Calm Katerina, You need to relax," the Abbess spoke, her voice barely a whisper. "We do not have the strength to kill all of them. However we know where their leader has set up camp and help is at hand".
Heavy steps echoed through the chamber as the paladin strode up to the altar and the two sisters.
"Ichabod," Katerina's voice was now trembling with rage. "We are allying with his lot?"
"Lovely to see you too, Katerina," the cheerful paladin said,"well, shall we get planning?"
One of my first characters for this warband is the Abbess Katerina. I wanted a stoic aggressive pose so I chose the Sister from Dungeon Saga. But I needed to replace the weapon because I love the Naginata in the panther riders so a simple weapon head swap was used. That concluded the conversion work I initially had planned to go white robes with red but after priming black i decided on black robes with red hood. The robes got a color mix of black, bone and brown to highlight them and then washed down with Nuln oil which I think looks good. The red hood was a mechrite red base coat with baal red wash and AP Pure Red highlights along with a single dot of white in a couple of places for highlights( Thanks V) The leather was a variety of browns but all were washed in fleshsade and had a few highlights picked out. Finally the Silver was AP shining silver that I washed in places in Nuln Oil to give the impression of a Hamon. So Katerina is the first member of the expeditionary force.
